In March 2025, Recruitment Without Bias officially named Precis Diversity Champions® — recognizing their dedication to fair, transparent hiring practices. As one of the EU’s leading performance marketing agencies and a Teamtailor power user since 2018, Precis leaned on our platform’s inclusive features to showcase and sharpen their efforts. We caught up with their Talent Acquisition team to learn how Teamtailor helped fast‑track this achievement.

Recruitment Without Bias Certification

The Recruitment Without Bias framework helps companies assess and improve fair hiring practices. Precis joined the pilot phase, collaborating directly with the founder of Recruitment Without Bias.

"This topic and being fair to employees has always been on our agenda — now we’re just doing it in a more structured way."explains Carmen.

The certification process unfolded in three phases:

  1. Data collection & assessment – Precis gathered all their existing hiring processes, D&I practices, and internal documents.
  2. Gap identification – With RWB’s help, they reviewed these efforts, pinpointed missing pieces, and received tailored feedback.
  3. Implementation – Precis formalized policies, filled gaps, and built out areas needing improvement, especially around disability inclusion and neurodiversity training.

How did Teamtailor fast-track the certification?

Precis wasn’t starting from scratch. Since adopting Teamtailor in 2018, they’ve benefited from features designed for inclusive hiring. As new bias-reducing tools rolled out, their recruitment process became stronger and more transparent.

When it came time for certification, the foundation was already solid — only a few areas needed attention. Key Teamtailor features that impressed RWB included:

  • Structured process: Interview kits that guide fair candidate assessments.
  • Blind applications: Anonymized applications to strip away bias.
  • Customizable workflows: Ensures every candidate follows the same steps.
  • Assessment tools: Scorecards for objective evaluation.

  • Built-in D&I features: Inclusive screening criteria and regular inclusivity checks.

As Sara Piwnicka puts it, we were already doing a lot of things right. Teamtailor just made it easier to prove it.

Results of the certification & using Teamtailor

For Precis, certification confirmed what they’d always believed — their hiring process was already strong, structured, and fair. Having relied on Teamtailor since 2018, each new feature made their approach even more inclusive and bias-aware.

Carmen reflects, “Teamtailor lets us run a fully structured hiring flow — from blind CVs to interview kits and scorecards — so every candidate is evaluated against the same clear criteria. It replaces gut reactions with measurable, fair decisions.”

Tips from Precis on being D&I savvy

  • Stay up to date on best practices and tools.
  • Invest in regular D&I training and aim for certifications.
  • Leverage workforce data to spot gaps — think gender balance and ethnic diversity.
  • Use structured surveys to gather employee feedback and encourage engagement.
  • Acknowledge personal biases and actively work to address them.
