To attract and hire the best candidates, they needed a recruitment process that was smooth, cost-effective, and scalable. We spoke with Sara Henriksson, Talent Acquisition Manager at Hoxhunt, about their journey and how they’ve managed to transform recruitment.

When recruitment became more than just administration

Sara’s relationship with Teamtailor began long before she joined Hoxhunt. At her very first HR job, she got to use the system right from the start.
She brought that experience with her into her current role at Hoxhunt, where the need for change in the recruitment process and tooling quickly became clear.

When costs and needs didn’t match

As part of a larger cost-saving initiative, Hoxhunt started reviewing its tech stack. The ATS they were using came at a significantly higher cost, almost €10,000 more per year - but without providing clear additional benefits.

We realized we could save a significant amount without compromising on candidate experience or efficiency. In fact, we had the chance to improve both at the same time, Sara explains.

On top of that, the company’s job ads needed a major facelift. With Teamtailor, they not only got a modern design but also a platform that made it easy to create visually appealing job ads and and career pages.

From manual to automated

One of the most important initiatives for the recruitment team has been reducing manual tasks. Coordinating interviews, something that used to be time-consuming and often delayed the process - can now be done in just a few clicks.

Scheduling interviews used to be a real bottleneck. But with the new booking function, candidates can choose their own times according to our calendar preferences, which according to Sara, “saves an enormous amount of time and lets us focus on tasks that produce value and helps secure a signed
contract with the right candidate.”

Collaboration with hiring managers has also become easier and more structured. By working with requisitions, the team now has a clear framework for how recruitment needs are initiated and prioritized, creating a shared understanding of what matters most right now.

More data-driven and proactive

For Hoxhunt, recruitment isn’t just about filling roles - it’s about building a sustainable long-term process and a pleasant experience for hiring managers, candidates and recruiters.
The team has become significantly more data-driven: with analytics and custom reports, they can track KPIs, report clearly to decision-makers, and anticipate hiring needs. By identifying bottlenecks and trends early, they can act proactively, which has improved both efficiency and quality in recruitment.

Fairness, transparency, and support

At the same time, fairness and transparency are essential. By using interview kits and traits & skills, recruiters and hiring managers work from shared question templates and can compare candidates in a structured way. This makes decision-making easier and fairer for candidates, who all get the same opportunity to showcase their abilities.

Another aspect that makes a big difference in daily work is support. Previously, it could take days to get help, but now the team receives answers within seconds via Teamtailors chat, making everything run more smoothly.
