Some candidates arrive incomplete. Sourced profiles with no application, a resume that never got attached, screening criteria that can't reach a verdict because the answer just isn't there. Chasing that information down is nobody's favourite part of the job.
Now you can hand the chasing to Co-pilot. Add Request missing info as a trigger on any stage, and when a candidate lands there, Co-pilot checks their profile for gaps:
- Unanswered questions from the application form
- Screening criteria that need more data to reach a verdict
- Empty custom fields with automatic updates enabled
- Missing personal details, like a phone number, address, LinkedIn profile, or resume
Co-pilot then composes a short questionnaire covering just those gaps and sends it to the candidate. When they reply, their answers flow straight back into the profile: questions get answered, custom fields fill in, and screening re-runs automatically. No recruiter action needed.
Where it really shines
Pair it with Screening criteria and Smart move. Request missing info collects the answers, screening reaches a verdict, and Smart move keeps the candidate moving through your pipeline, all on its own. It's also great for sourced candidates who never filled in an application in the first place.
Good to know
- You decide the maximum number of questions per questionnaire. If a resume is missing, that request always comes first, so the most important gap never gets cut.
- The email is yours to shape, with placeholders like {first-name} and {job-title}.
