Your prompt decides what happens. Depending on what you write, Smart action can add a comment, fill in a custom field, add or remove tags, or create a to-do. Keep it to one action per prompt. Need another one? Add another Smart action.
It plays it safe. The AI works from what a recruiter on the job would see: the resume, application answers, comments and application context. If the information isn't there, the candidate stays as they are. Custom fields that already have a value keep it, tags only go on when the candidate's info backs them up, and comments explain what was missing and where the AI looked.
Verify checks your prompt before you save 🔍 It flags anything the AI can't act on and warns you if a prompt asks for more than one action. If a prompt could lead to biased decisions, you get a warning so you can keep things job-related.
