What were your recruitment challenges prior to Teamtailor?
The Applicant Tracking System we were using before Teamtailor felt generally clunkier. It had a much more dated UI/UX experience and we didn't have a strong career site for recruitment. Instead of using an ATS for connect with candidates and reporting, we ended up using manual, more time-consuming methods.
What made you choose Teamtailor?
There were a number of reasons that made us choose Teamtailor once we'd seen it. For one, we loved the career site that came with it, it's allowed us to show off our team, core values and brand. Another reason was its modern user interface and user experience. We were using manual methods before, so it's saved us a lot of time in different aspects of our recruitment. Lastly, the smart triggers in the hiring workflow have been useful in automating our recruitment process.
Which Teamtailor features and functionalities do you use the most?
A few of the Teamtailor features have been particularly useful for us. As mentioned, we use the smart triggers all the time to automate aspects of our recruitment process when we move candidates through the hiring flow. Teamtailor also has a lot of integrations and job boards, like SEEK and Screened.ai, which help us with promoting our open roles.
What are some of the concrete ways Teamtailor has helped you?
Teamtailor has helped us bring all of our pipelines into one centralized platform, keeping everything in one place so we can avoid switching between platforms. It's also great for extracting details from resumes we source, summarizing them all in the candidate card for us, which easily saves us heaps of hours every month.
It easily saves us heaps of hours every month.
What would you say to other companies thinking about moving over to Teamtailor?
Take the time initially to set up your workflows and automations, which will save you a lot of time in the long run. Also take a look at the marketplace to make use of all the integrations and job boards.
Three things Grain would tell you
- Set up your workflows and automations early. Smart triggers pay back the initial effort many times over.
